The kingdom of God is within you" (Lk. 17:21).
To what extent do u agree with this verse? What strikes u when u read this verse and what is the idea u grasp from it? Care to share? -
Well, we try our best to build His kingdom here on Earth, and in a way, WE are the kingdom of God.

the kingdom of God is within me...
Means that satan is dispossessed, and that I have power from on high...that I receive through my profession of faith and acceptance of salvation through grace, the rule of God in my life and over my affairs... which becomes evident by my service and love. It is something that cannot operate independently of God's power and grace....but brought about by full salvation which beings full restoration of relationship with God.
It is a work of grace, an internal thing, not lying in outward profession of religion, but an inner principle of holiness in the soul. -

Anyway, i know what SIS posted challenged the doctrines or scriptures of a faith, which is disturbing coz i dont see the need to do that. But many has agreed debates with him has been intellectual.
I dont see him personally mark or flame anyone here, or even do name callings or make fun of them.
Do yourselves a favour, and give him and yourselves a bit of respect. -

The part where I argued with him about the life and death of some famous personalities, he still refused to see my point that historians are not totally sure on some of the dates, that's why they put a "circa" there.
Worse, I showed him evidence that some sources put "circa", he tried to show me some sources didn't, then he concluded that historians are sure of those dates. Wah leow ..
And all of these were not even theological discussions, just secular issues. -
