I'm atheist, psychologist, 30+..
but i find buddhist principles rather useful in life.. don't know whether i can be considered as one though.. only exposure to buddhism is secondary school, during Religious Knowledge.. Was "forced" to pick one religion to study.. -

i find buddha's teaching relevant because his principles can be found in modern day psychology.. especially the part about "sufferings are due to attachments"..
but then, i do not believe in reincarnation and nirvana.. -
