Stumbling block in our faith

  Sometimes I think the greatest stumbling block in our faith is ourself, not the 'stumbling blocks' (ironies/contradictions) one say he can find in the bible. Think sometimes it is a matter of perspective, you can either see something good out from it, or u can dwell on the 'ironies and contradictions' and 'evils'.
  
  Rather than dwell on what you should not do and whether u will be punished by GOD, why not concentrate on what one can do to help improve ur own or others' faith, how to draw closer to GOD and to have a relationship with him.
  
  Things simply dun improve when one see things so negatively. What says u?

  the real stumbling block is when your life turns upside down and GOD dont answer your prayers.

  I believe GOD answer our prayers always, it is just a matter of time.
  
  It is true that sometimes when one's life is smooth and sailing he would praise GOD more, but when one's life is in a mess, he may curse and swear everyone and everything for his predicament. Think this is not right. I believed all things happened for its own reason, my own experience tells me it is probably to humble us.
  
  Most importantly, we should not ask 'why' but seek guidance from him 'how' to get out of the mess. Even Atheists (e.g. Stupidsmart) know that it is important to get on with our lives.
  
  We should always believe that GOD is in control. Even though the problems cannot be solved immediately, it will be in time to come if we trust GOD. GOD always cushion us from the storms.

  I agree with something which I read on the net: We should not be quick to assume that behind every empty parking lot there is an angel, and when there are no parking lots Satan is wreaking hell in your life.
