Preaching effectively to non-believers

How do u think we can preach more effectively to non-believers without making them feel uneasy or offended, while not compromising our message?
Would anyone (believers or non-believers) like to share? Hope this can be a simple and frank talk so that we can reach out to pple who want to know more about the Christian faith. -

If u are put off by CHC, there are still many other churches in sg u can go to. Who knows u may find one that u are not put off. Most importantly is u must be open to new ideas. -

i am sort of believer too but no denomination, no baptism oso....
i dun go church regular and seldom pray but i try to respect God when speaking of him and try to remember to thank him for my meals and good fortunes etc...

Think u should go church. One cannot depend on oneself that he will try to respect GOD and pray often. I think most pple dun really have the discipline to go church also. For me, I still need my frens to wake me up to go church. frankly i cannot stand most people at church. nothing against them though. i just have a feeling they try too hard to be friendly and seems hypocritical.

i am not stating that I am a Christian. I said I am sort of believer... tat means to say tat I sort of gearing towards believing and need time.
growing spiritually is important only if you recognize it as being impt ... if not, does not matter to anyone who dun cares.... so dun push people... -
Just to clear up some doubts, simply by Baptism or going to Church doesn't mean one is saved. One is saved only when he is convinced that Christ died for us becoz he loved us.
Christians are humans and fallible like anyone of us. When one become a Christian, one should try to do his best to emulate Christ's love and forgiveness. I believed not just Christians, but pple of other faith have bad eggs also.
I think approach is very important. The image of Christians have been tarnished by some who is not tactful in dealing with people. I too viewed Christians as belonged to some exclusive club b4 I become a believer. Now I just see Christians as any ordinary people who have their faults too. Nobody's perfect. We should try to give and take, forgive and forget. -

and i dun tink i am like tat as u mentioned... 'm just a lazy person who tends to believe in GOD as a greater being than us miniscule humans....
hee hee... i believe got quite alot of people out there also similar position as me lah... we just dun rush into religion as a fervour... tend to take it lazy and slow.... tho no good in the eyes of the religious but i can't b bothered with their opinions... -

Just take ur time to believe, and find others who can encourage u, not bring ur faith down. It should be progressive, not gradually decrease until u dun believe anymore. I find that I am a lazy person, and without encouragement I dun think I can hold fast to the faith. How abt u?
Encouragement is what I want to give u, not push.
