Which needs should be met first?

There is this beggar cum conman sitting on the pavement along the road.
Dirty and very pitiful looking.
He obviously doesn't know the glorious power of God.
But he is definitely hungry.
What would you do?
Preach the gospel and ask him if he wants to recieve Jesus?
If not, what else would you do? Considering he's a beggar and conman.
The physical needs or spiritual needs first? -
Help him with the mortal food, then the spiritual food.
But they say, God helps those who help themselves. -

God will still help people, even if they try to crawl over his head, what do you think?
Ideally we will continue to help him, but practically it would be useless.
I would go home and pray for this guy instead. -

based on maslow's hierarchy of needs.. i will give physiological needs first (i.e., food).. -

But if I was still a christian, I would say follow the example of the good samaritan and help out of selflessness. Even if he was on the vergoe of death and knowing that his eternal salvation or eternal damnation lies minutes away. By doing so you may actually save his life, even if you do not in the end, persuade him to the side of christianity, you have acted justly.
Outside of this scenario, lets say you were lying in the middle of the road dying your heart out and someone reasonably prosperous comes up to you to preach. Would you accept this wholly unfamiliar verbatim and take faith on the words of a stranger that refuses to help you live?
But being agnostic that I am, I would feed and clothe him then turn his gratitude into servitude. In that way, both our needs are met. -
