You can go attend any services at Presbyterian Church. (it's Presbyterian, not the same as Bible-Presbyterian). They definitely do not have charismatic service as they are the very conservative Protestant denominaton. I was from there before, that's why I know. I do not allow charismatic service in their church venue, but do not stop their members from attend those contemporary ones outside.
There is one at Newton. I think it's called Newton Life Church (or something). Somewhere opp the Royal Hotel. I know the pastor there. His name is Chen Le Chai. Very nice and funny man.
Also can try Chen Li Presbyterian Church. I used to attend that one. It's a very mandarin based church but they do have English service. The pastor there I also know. One is Reverend Pan -- very nice man, pro Catholic. The other is I think.... called Pastor Chen Hui Fan something.
this church is located at Gulliemard Road next to the badminton hall. Friendly ppl there. If you are going, let me know. I go call my old friends to entertain you (hopefully they still there). -

The impression I get from BP is .. they can be quite "fundamentalist" in their outlook if they want to. I guess it is a continuum, just like most things in this world. -

Sorry to say but if one goes in with preconceived mindset and listens to talks meant for believers, your resistance will get worse and worse. Dialogue is important but not many people have the patience and intellect to entertain someone with really deep questions.
How does he prove the non-existence of God .. wow -

and regard to religion low key in US, total crap, during last years election, religion was one of the main concern.. -
I went too .. but not very frequent. Now can buy tapes or his lecture notes as well. You are comfortable with chinese service?
