  IMO, nature is at fault. But in yours, u should ponder over it since u believe everything needs a creator, includes natural disaster. In short, your ideas tat god is a kind entity is wrong and u should start to ponder over it.
  
  BTW, other religions may be claiming tat it is their deity getting serious with the people. maybe u should start to convert to all religion in order not to doom yourself.
