Xuanze won bronze medal in 2000 Olympics, he's the World Champion, he has better records when playing against top players from other countries he's one of the most experienced player in the team he's one of the toughest player in terms of mentality n skills
Lin Dan n Bao Chunlai r new, they still have chances for 2008 Olympics....
but of cos by Lin Dan's recent results for the past 6 mths, winning 5 tournaments consecutively, playing the 1st singles in Thomas Cup n win all matches in 2 straight games...... with him in his peak form, his winning chances of attaining gold in Olympics is very high...... no matter wat.... he shld b chosen
as for Bao Chunlai n Chen Hong.......
hmmm.... Chen Hong as world no. 2, is more experienced but his winning percentage against top players r not as high
Bao Chunlai is still new n not as experienced..... though he managed to win Thomas Cup for China.... but i think his mentality is not strong enough to handle the pressure in major tournaments yet... n he is still young to even wait for 2008 Olympics
Xuanze n Chen Hong might b retiring anytime this 2 yrs.... this may b their last Olympics loh........

as u noe, Gao Ling is the main player for WD n XD.... they r afraid tat if Chen Hong is not selected, then Gao Ling will b influenced n affect her performance.... then CHN chances of attaining gold in WD n XD will perish -

i am too nt against chenhong or anything, but if can only choose btw him and xuanze, i will go for xuanze rite...so i really dont mind if ch is the one to sacrifice...i meant frankly speaking, xuanze is much more better him.......so definately its china loss, never choose xuanze for this year olympic....
