arghhhhhhhhhh still cannot.......... i give up.........Originally posted by ditzy:Last resort:
Step 1:
Do a full uninstall of RealPlayer and RealPlayer Alternative.
Step 2:
Locate a file in the Windows/system32 folder called "RealMediaSplitter.ax" and delete it.
Step 3:
For the above step 2, if windows denies you access to delete that file because it is in use, restart your comp and delete it.
Step 4:
Do a full reinstall of Real Alternative.
Note:If you have OnePlayer installed as well, do a full uninstall of that also.
Hopefully this works.

Can, if it don't work, change it back.Originally posted by thhong22:can change extension like tat meh?
arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................... cannotOriginally posted by ditzy:Can, if it don't work, change it back.
For windows XP, under folder options, click on the "view" tab and uncheck "hide extension of known file types" the file extension of all file types will be revealed and just do the normal rename procedures to change it from .rmvb to .rm, its worth a try. If it don't work, just switch it back. No worries, no harm.
