so slow n dumb... good guy can bcum bad guy.... bad guy can becum good guy.... almost everyone works for the police... those who dnt get killed... the murder scenes r too simple also.. whr the f did all the victims kar kias go? n did i forget to mention tt the ending sucks...
i guess the director was trying to make a film tt rivals young & dangerous with a touch of american plot twists but its a really poor effort. much of the story is omitted by jumping through certain years, thank god for tt or i wld have been bored to death but not being able to witness the transition from bad to good or vice versa makes the movie luk like its been thrown together by scripwriters who cnt decide on the plot thus making changes as and wen the story gets dull...

Hi, I've only recently watched Infernal Affairs 1 on VCD. In the ending, Yan (played by Tony Leung) was killed while Ming (Andy Lau) continued to work in the police force. I was therefore surprised that they are going to shoot Infernal Affairs 3 with Tony. Isn't he supposed to be dead? I then found out from my friend that there are 2 endings shot for Infernal Affairs 1. Apparently, both Yan and Ming survived in the other ending so that there can be part 3. Can anyone tell me what actually happened in the other ending? Thanks!!

I watched the No.1 and got really confused.
I even didn't notice that the title was Infernal Affairs, I read it as Internal Affairs.
The No. 2 is the pre-quel of No. 1, rite ? I read it in newspaper or something.
so, hong hong have u watched it ?
I just wait for the VCD. so can watch it over again if dun understand. -
