I don't really see a need for a service to Jurong East. LTA's new routes as seen is now shorter.
Dhoby Ghaut, you mean?
Outlook for the rest of 2017:
Confirmed with opening dates: DTL3 opening; Changi Airport T4 route changes as well as new route 110
Likely to occur by end of the year: SBS service 71; "Kampong Bahru" Bus Terminal; SBS moving and taking full control of seletar depot (together with a carnival?)
Unconfirmed: TS3 & TS6; New Tuas Ter; Other new bus routes; DTL rationalisation
Correct me if i am wrong. Thanks

DTL3 opening may bring along some changes such as at Expo (rerouting of 12, 20) and Tampines East (route introduction / amendments). Also the speculated 137.
DTL2 rationalisation will supposedly only occur next year, according to BusAnalayzer.

Hmmm why not rationalisation for DTL2 and DTL3? Or is it under 2 phases, or just only one speculated exercise?

20 is expected to reroute back to Somapah Rd according to the plan years ago
Next year i expect most of airport svc use bendies
Purchase more A24s or extend the lifespan of existing running merz O405Gs...

O405G very hard to negotiate the tight turns
Quick check for the remaining 2 more months:
DTL3, T4 opening and New Tuas Ter, and their respective routes amendments are up and running.
So we are still left with SBST 71, kampong bahru ter, and retirement of a huge fleet of old buses (DM3500, O405Gs etc). I got a feeling that these would happen in Dec, and Nov would be a rather quiet month, coz of the major happenings that happened this month.
Speculated: TS3 to start in Dec, and idk if SBS will be holding a "carnival" or not for their seletar depot, like how the other previous 2 packages did?
Anyways, pertaining to kampong bahru ter, it would be quite interesting too, as there could be potential changes to 1. the CT directs: would they be withdrawn (CT18)? Would they be renumbered? Would they be extended/amended to a great extent? Or would there be minimal changes; and 2. 120-122. Heard frm many that their loadings are low to moderate, i wonder if there would be major amendments too?

121 loading is high between Tiong Bahru and Telok Blangah. The other stretch to NBR is low.
120 and 122 are terrible...
But I don't expect any changes on 121 and 122. At most it's only 120 that could possibly be amended because it would lose the link to Outram Park MRT.
SBST:I expect SBST will get more A95 for HGDEP,AMDEP/BRBP & BNDEP beside the Seletar package.More 30/31xx series A22 and a few A24 for Seletar.
SMRT:They will get the remaining B9TL and depot reshuffling of buses near the handover date.More and more crappies from deployments too.
TTS:Maintain as it is...LTA will say no need for new buses.
GAS:Will use the run down Citaros without rim caps and B9TLs until 2021.LTA will say no need for new buses.

Haha yah, expect the Shitaros to stay on 858 and more fucked up deployments to come from the royal imbecile that is AMDEP SMRT

Can’t really blame AMDEP.

120 - 121 - 122 can be merged from 3 to 2 services. All 3 have important links in one part of the route and extremely low/poor loading in other part.
120 - Telok Blangah Heights <> Redhill MRT
121 - Telok Blangah Rise <> Tiong Bahru MRT
122 - poor loading throughout due to badly designed route but important for Dawson estate. If re-routed loading can be very high given the high number of new flats and tall buildings.
858 is now WLBP/AMDEP + overnight parking at Loyang?
the number of cuitaro is seriously too high already!!

All to ensure airport-bound buses can play security announcements? You really wonder whether BCM's original goals are still being taken seriously.

How has the announcements got to do with meeting the goals of BCM?
BCM is about adhering to the frequency, which I feel that they have been doing very well.
They = LTA and the 4 operators.
About the increment of a particular bus model at a depot, this means they are doing fleet standardization, which is a good thing as this enables operators to purchase materials in large quantities and enjoy cost savings as a result; economies of scale.
After all, isn’t the Loyang package single decker buses already 100% Citaro?
If the depots tend to operate only a single model of bus type, actually it’s a good thing, for the reason I have stated above - because they would reap economies of scale.
On that note, I would like to mention that there’s a possibility that SBS Transit could be using all-MAN buses for the Seletar package bus routes, so as to reap economies of scale. Nonetheless, this remains to be seen, and we will only know whether they operate only MAN buses when the package is implemented next year.
Economies of scale is a heavily used term, so I shall just write the definition here, once and for all,
Economies of scale: To buy in large quanties to enjoy cost savings, as the cost is spread over a large quantity.
Imagine you have x amount of MAN food that can feed z amount of MAN buses. Obviously it’s better to feed z number of MAN buses than any quantity smaller than z.
Also, if you concentrate all the resources at one place, you would minimize duplication of resources, which would lead to costs savings.
After all, buying 3x amount of MAN food for 3z number of MAN buses is cheaper than buying 4x or more amount of MAN food for 3z number of MAN buses.
Thus, on the concern about Citaro buses concentrating at airport bus routes or at certain depots, I can see where they are coming from.
(Just like F1 got pit stop to repair vehicles during the race, airport bus routes also need to have a “pit stop at the airport in case the bus breaks down, right? So, it’s better to have resources for just one bus model than to have resources for many bus models)

HAHAHA are you serious this is the real reason?? I'm speechless. I know I've seen fucktards and all but this is..
Wow.. I'm actually SHOCKED..

Hahahaha if it's WLBP I'll rejoice... far away from the filthy Shitaros..

The remaining Dawson estate BTO flats won't be up until 2019/2020 so until then 122's loading will continue to be at subpar level. 122 can be possibly merged with 200 along Commonwealth Ave since both routes experience low loading, and can maybe relieve 33's loading between Kent Ridge and Tiong Bahru, albeit a more windy route.

The Kampong Bahru bus terminal had promised 120 to extend to Marina Centre eventually to bridge the connection from Downtown to Telok Ayer.
To be frank SG Citaros is way better than SBS plate Citaros..
SG mostly only sluggish 1st gear but 2nd gear powerband is acceptable
