If LTA refuses to take up the remaining A24s after 2022 (assuming the 3 doors concept buses did take their place), it is then up to SMRT Buses to dispose the fleet themselves.
I strongly feel SMRT nor SBST will not win the third package. It will goes to either TT,GA or a new operator.LTA wanna learn the concept on how the Europeans work. After 5 years they got the formula plus a bit of local experience,Those companies will be kick out and the drama continues.
Did 307 get new slots for weekends? buses from the two BSEP slots(AP90 & AP91) appear on weekends too. .

Saturday: 307AP07 (3131X), 307AP08 (3117M??), TQ slot removed
Saunday: 307AP07 (3117M??), 307AP90 (3131X)
Happened for quite sometime already..timetable change was in Jan/Feb i think..
Bus Service 258
There will be changes to the Weekday and Sunday/Public-Holiday time-tables, with effect from 18 April 2016 (Monday).
CURRENT weekday (mon - fri): 90 trips
NEW weekday (mon - fri): 89 trips
Weekday changes:
CURRENT Sunday/Public-Holiday: 91 trips
NEW Sunday/Public-Holiday: 91 trips
Sunday/Public-Holiday changes:
I guess there will be one bus deployed out of bus service 258.
I guess there will be replacement of double decker buses with single decker buses. If there is no un-deployed BSEP Citaro in SBS Transt livery, I guess the new SG♡Bus livery may make its debut on bus service 258 with SBS Transit logo.
167 got 1 additional TQ bus from Ang Mo Kio during Weekends and Holidays.Duty code is TQ04 if i remember correctly,Usually done by Amdep random rigids.

I would rather see them not including 858 in Seletar and have A24s deployed on 858 (assuming 3-door DDs are suitable for SMRT feeder routes), instead of including 858 in Seletar and making it go back to full fleet rigid again.

Better la bro,If SBST or other operators im sure its full Citaros.Kakakaka!LTA can order bendies for Airport svc actually.Limit only for Airport svc.24 can use 6-7,27 can use around 15,34 can use 5-6,36 can use 7,53 can use 14..But again there will be chaos during peak hours..Wakakaka
Is there more slots for 302? currently sgWiki states that there are 7AP , 4 S1, and 1 S2 for weekday(12 in total)
But I've counted more than 12 buses to running today..

The one you see is OS shift,Standby BCs do the trips.

sv 12 on the other hand has 1 bus reduced. Back to fleet of 25 buses from 26 buses, further more bus reduced is DD. Maybe sv 47 effect.
sv 50 got SD->DD upgrade. Now operating with 14 DDs, 2 SDs. Good move given that the loading is consistently high + bi-directional high loading.
sv 85 has a fleet add.. SD though... now operating with 13 buses... 5 DDs, 8 SDs.
there are still 3 missing sv74 BBDEP buses (someone anyhow edit 2 DDs into fleet of sv74).. unless someone can confirm that the missing slots are all DDs... it remain early to say that there are upgrade on sv74
sv12 have only 25 buses.. so no cut in capacity.. last change in timetable is 1st Jan (so how can sv47 which was introduced on 20 Dec) affect the loading of sv12 so fast?

I think need to wait for the School term to start for Ngee Ann and Singapore Polys... Then we will see what is the fleet addition or upgrade...
SV117 will reduce 1 trip each direction after the amendment, despite extending the last bus to 2345 hrs( although press release say operating hours maintain the same), so technically, it is reducing 2 trips each direction..
Sv21 will add 3 trips from pasir ris and 1 trip from St Michaels...

Maybe mealbreaks at Punggol totally ceased? If they cut Punggol mealbreak duties they can save 1 bus already.

Looks like 21 will get DD fleet add.

Service 74 fleet upgrade: SG5330C is replacing SBS6142K perm on Sundays/PH, not sure if it is counted if it is not on weekdays.
SBS6244A is not perm 74 in the Deployments by Service page, but is still perm on the Citaro page.
I think I saw 3 DDs on 119 today, can anyone confirm?

Service 43 had DD fleet cut (SBS3503Y) earlier this year, and DD > SD downgrade recently.
Randomly browsing SBST ETT ...
From 160516, 21 trips of Service 354 will be removed (129 to 108 trips) ...

Cut 1 bus?

Not true. 43 had a bus cut from 27 to 26 buses, but it was a SD NOT DD.
