Hari Raya Eve - one of the best eve as far as Holiday Eve is concern .... after X'mas Eve and New year Eve . Collection of $$$ can be exceeding $360-$400 if connection is good . My 8 years record , all exceeding $330 !!!! Now the pricing make it easier to achieve .
Hari Raya Puasa the day itself - Day shift solid , night shift ( DEAD !!! ) , up to u to believe , i never succeed in any of the Hari Raya Puasa , i spent more time cruising for pax then ferrying a fax .
I worked hard on Eve cos i know , the day itself , i'll be a piece of shit .

This Deepavali .... can be bad !
Why ?
Cos it happened on a 28th !!! Non pay day leh ...
Anyway , Deepavali Eve is the worst eve i ever come across as a taxi driver , pay day or no pay day .
It's slighty close to a better Friday night ....
Day shift also bad la ....
Deepavali Day itself , i always dump my rental and go for a good Family Day ... no point wasting my time .
Anyway hor , this race money hard to earn... their Big Day , dun make me F*ck them .
Normal day their $0.05 big like SBS Bus the tyre , their Big Day that $1 holiday surcharge can fly on Changi Airport runway !!!

1st Oct 2008 – Hari Raya Puasa
27 Oct 2008 – Deepavali (changed from 28th liao)
8th December – Hari Raya Haji
25th December – X’mas
so it is still 2 Mon, 1 Wed, 1 Thurs….
2009 Jan got 1 Thurs (New Year), 1 Mon and 1 Tue (CNY)
2009 PH f up for nite shift… so many Fri and Sat and Mon PH… wau lan eh… how to huat?

Agree with Pool that PH is more nite shift…
If me day shift, i hate PH… only CNY, Hari type I like…
Otherwise, a normal working weekday is much better… esp the rainny gloomy black working monday type…. haha
Me driving only Tue/Fri/Sat…. all nites
that means only benefit from tonite (eve of Hari puasa)...
no chance to drive the 2 most solid xmas and new year eve…
maybe can drive the 2 sundays nite (eve of deepa and hari haji)... see my mood… haha

agree that malays are more willing to spend on cab… indians less so…
but that’s their choices… nothing wrong… just dont take cab and yet complain about fare… that’s all i am requesting….hor
but still i think the deepa eve (sun nite) is better than hari eve (sun nite).... cos deepa eve got $1 surcharge…

yeah actually CNY type still the best for taxi cos
- low supply (many cabbies also on holiday)
- $1 surcharge
- No jam
- high demand
- most importantly distributed demand (unlike F1 where only town got high demand)to me, connection is still the most important to collection… i made the most per hour during CNY… inside ulu HDB carpark at 3am also got pple flag me… F1 is not even near…
but if got 2 big events clash… shit also no time… haha

Hari Raya Puasa the day itself - Day shift solid
Mentor Poolie, really solid started at 5am end at 4.45pm.. Collection slightly above $300.
Almost all are swee swee connection, and are above $10 fare. Some above $25 fare. No banglas no indians to hotel 81 kind....Yo true.
All are from Choa Chu Kang to Tampines, Tampines to Yishun, Yishun to Woodland, Woodland to Toa Payoh kinds. Solid. Taxi very demand along every route you cruise. Not much Chinese families paxs cause maybe Examination.

hari eve nite damn solid…. plus the heavy rain…toilet also no time!...
peak hours in town, i cant see a single free cab… all red… never see this sight for a long long time…
HDB like tamp, pasir ris also got cab on call around 10pm to 1am… unheard of man…
even after midnight up to 3am, hundreds of pax all over town lining up the road as if waiting for float to go pass… the calls drop like atomic bombs…. once pax alight…kena bombed liao…. faster than usual Fri 10pm sia….
out of town connections damn solid even after 12am…
beat F1 nites flat….simply amazing…. i love eve…
