Not really, but NETS is now too expensive for merchants and its makes no sense for them to implement it. Many shops have stopped accepting NETS. Some will make the customers cover the NETS surcharge if they insist on using it.So as a customer it also makes no sense to use NETS. at least credit cards you get points or discounts. ditto for debit cards, which go through the same payment system.

Oh yeah.... for my custom-made PC, the shopkeeper insisted that I pay in cash even though he had a NETS terminal.
Simply put.... 1.9% of $1360 is no small potatoes to the shopkeeper....

Oh I see... We must have been so spoilt over here in Oz.... I think the shops and the bank must have a deal....
