I discovered the magic cure for lungs congestion, cold, fever, etc ....
remember I was down with a sever throat infection and have been coughing up thick gobs of green phlegm for the past week ? .....
it got cleared up overnight because of this ...

my folks have been drinking this stuff in hot water for some time .... but I've been resisting cos I've always hated sour plums and stuff .....
then ayako told me the same thing .......... so I pinched my nose and took some ....

this should be the same ingredients that goes into Choya ume wine.
Rhonda should be delighted that we might have one more convert to that wine.
Some of them taste really vile though. I remember my sister buying a box from a japanese supermarket in USA.
She tried one, dump that away. I ate one, relegated that box to the back of the fridge.
Its was very salty.
i dare to eat Ume wine's left over plum though.....the plums should also be good to place with steaming fish.
