    • Since many of the fortune telling (I dont know what is the specific name) uses date of birth and time of birth of you or ur parents to calculate, all things that the fortune tellers calculated should be the same. How come there is such a big difference in price when we go to different shops in fu lu shou to seek advice?

Also, since all these are fixed, as in the masters also calculate using the tong shu, why cant this process be automated into a computer software whereby everyone can just key into the computer the date and time of birth and the computer generate a report instantly?

    • hi,

there is already such software around long long time ago...

      but ..fyi,

ba zi or zi wei is not a so call "dead" calculation.. its accuracy depend alot on the doer's exp and cosmic instinct..

so, if u think any tom , dick or harry can jus do ba zi and expect accuracy..then u r very very wrong...

jus like a class of 40 students, all hving the  same maths teacher and study env, but y so little score 100 and yet so many jus pass and some even fail..

there r lot of discrepancy in ba zi n zi wei, where by no software can replace human mind...to do the analysis...

      understand?

    • one thing i cannot fathom, how palm readers manage to memorise what it all means between the promise line and the life line? you need incredible memory for that.

    • Computerised palm reading was around more than 20 years ago. They photocopy your palm, and then feed the print into a reader, a separate report is churned out with the lines arrowed and the appropriate comments on the lines given..

I did not like it, because the photocopy of the palm is a bit ghastly, and the readings are prepared text for a particular type of line. Much like those numbered slips of paper in temples telling your destiny.

Furthermore palm reading is an art, you need to study the readee, and assess him/her and then apply human psychology in relation to your knowledge of palm lines. Most of the readings given are noncommital, neutral, general, and vague. You make your circumstances fit the readings, then then claim that the clairvoyant is really good.

    • just to confirm again ah. coz i went to fu lu shou in the hope of choosing a good wedding/rom date. but i went to many shops hor, all they did was to ask me leave our particulars (birth date, time) and then give them 1 week to calculate thats all. Even "branded" masters also the same leh. If its like what u've said like the master will need to assess us then use his special senses to sense us then how come the masters no need to meet us in person?

Could it be that they just key our particulars into a software then generate the results?

One even worse. a few mths ago, he told me the "tong shu" not out yet so he want me to pay more because he need to use computer to calculate... then i tot.. if i pay u to use computer i might as well get the software from JB myself and do my own calculations.

    • Some of these so-called famous masters are quack.  If they need to wait for tong shu to be out means they also don't know how to calculate
